exim4-config software package provides configuration for the Exim MTA (v4), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install exim4-config
exim4-config is installed in your system.
Make ensure the exim4-config package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep exim4-config *
You will get with exim4-config package name, version, architecture and description in a table
